DataPulse is a Google Sheets™ add-on developed by Blue Sphere Capital, LLC. Your privacy is important to us, and we aim to be fully transparent about how the add-on works and what data it accesses.

🔍 What Data We Access

• The add-on can access your Google Sheets™ via your Google account, but it only interacts with spreadsheets where you actively use the add-on interface or configure alerts.

• It reads cell values to detect common formula errors (e.g., #DIV/0!, #REF!, #VALUE!).

• It accesses email addresses that you enter when setting up alert notifications.

• It accesses basic user information (email address and profile) to personalize the experience and support user-specific configuration.

📊 How Data Is Processed

DataPulse processes your data in the following manner:

• 🔒 Read-only access: Only reads spreadsheet cell values to check for formula errors

• ⏱️ Temporary processing: Data exists only during the scanning process

• 🧼 No persistent storage: No data is saved to any external database or file system

• 🏢 Local execution: All processing occurs entirely within your Google Workspace environment

⚙️ What We Do With That Data

• We use the spreadsheet data only to detect formula errors and send alerts to the email addresses you configure.

• We do not store, share, or transmit any spreadsheet content or email addresses to external servers.

• All operations are executed securely using Google Apps Script, running fully within your Google Workspace environment.

🔐 Data Protection Mechanisms

• All processing occurs within Google’s secure Apps Script environment.

• No data is transmitted to any third-party servers or services.

• Access is controlled via Google’s OAuth 2.0 system, requiring explicit user consent.

• Data is processed in-memory only, and automatically discarded after use.

• Operations are subject to Google’s audit and security policies.

🔐 Your Data Security

• We do not collect analytics, use tracking tools, or send any data externally.

• No spreadsheet or email data is visible to us as developers unless you explicitly share a document with us for support.

• You remain in full control of your data and permissions via your Google Account security settings.

🗃️ Data Retention & Deletion

• Retention Period: None. All data is discarded immediately after processing.

• Deletion Process: Temporary data is purged from memory upon task completion.

• User Control: You may revoke access to the add-on at any time via your Google Account → Third-party access settings.

• Uninstalling: Fully removes our access to your data and Sheets.

• Support Requests: If you voluntarily share a Sheet with our team, it can be deleted upon request at any time.

DataPulse requests the following Google Workspace scopes to enable its functionality:
